Hell, But Funnier
If you've ever had to take orders from or work beside a complete moron, total jackass, or piece of shit; if you've ever had to humor bad humor; if you've ever felt your soul slipping away; in other words, if you've ever had a job...

...then you will like The Office.

It's the most consistently brilliant show I've ever seen. Okay, so I've only seen 6 episodes, but except for the very best episodes of The Simpsons I can't remember ever laughing that hard that often. It's got as much caricature as it does heart (even the total jackasses and complete morons are real people -- too real, actually).

And then there's the little people. The honest, smart, very frustrated people whose desk shackles zap them of ambition. From watching these characters, the butts of the day after day, hopeless, Godot-like joke, we get the creepy feeling that they aren't just folks in an office, but are actually deserving souls that were sent to hell because their paper work wasn't in order.

The show rules, people. It's on DVD. You know what to do. Now git!
